The Whale Project is a Venice-based interdisciplinary music, audiovisual, and multimedia art collective and research network uniting composers, performers, visual artists, scientists, and sculptors.
Rooted in the exploration of music and visual languages, its productions aim to evoke augmented emotional experiences through audiovisual spectacles, music theatre, spatial sound, and interactive sound sculpture installations.
The Whale Project periodically conducts masterclasses on improvisation and realtime visual design — exploring generative art, coding, and the relationship between music and visuals, such as the Shape of Water at the Venetian Conservatory and presentations at the Venice Researcher's Night.
